Kaylyn's counts are already below zero, which means the chemo is working fast this time.  Next week when Kaylyn's counts begin to rise then the bone marrow biopsy will be preformed.  Kaylyn is feeling very tired and does not have much energy at all, which is to be expected. Later on in the week she will have more labs done to make sure that her hemoglobin is holding up , if not she will require a transfusion and hopefully we will be able to by pass that. Thanks for you continued prayers for the family everyone is appriciated and felt in more ways than one :)

Good afternoon Everyone. The results of Kaylyn's biopsy came back yesterday. Unfortunatly Kaylyn is not in remission. Her  counts show 80% clustered leukemia cells.  The Warrens had a doctors appointment today to find out what their options are now. Kaylyn can do either a "in the box" chemo or she can do a "out of the box" treatment. She has chosen to do a "In the box" treatment, which is a chemo that has been proven to help leukemia patients that have come out of remission. Please keep Kay in your prayers always and never forget to pray for her.  Try and pick a time during the day to set aside and remember to pray for her.  Thank you for your continuous prayers for the family.

Good Morning everyone! Throughout today please keep Kaylyn in your prayers, She goes into the hospital to have a bone marrow biopsy done. Please pray that the test results will be nothing but possitive and great news. This is most likely going to be a draining day for Kaylyn and her parents.
Also when you pray for Kaylyn please pray for the whole family too. Early Monday morning Mrs.Warren's Father *(Kays grandfather*) quietly passed away. He recently was being hospitalized for heart complications.  This is obviously a hard time for the family and pray that this will not be to much of a hinderence on Kaylyn. Thank you all for your continuous prayers, God hears every one of them!

Good Morning everyone! Well Kay and the Warren's had a great weekend of exploring and adventure.  They had a chance to explore outside of the city and drive around in air conditioning (*since their apartment does not have AC). They had a chance to see some of the real beauty that Seattle has to offer.  They took a nice cruise across the lakes *washington and Union*.
Kay's counts have been going up *what a praise*. She had 2 unit's of RBC's on friday, which quickly returned color to those rosey red cheeks that are so beautiful and cheerful!. Keep Kaylyn in your prayers today as she has labs done and prepares for the bone marrow biopsy on wed. Please pray that wensday's biopsy will have good and great news to bring and that everything will be possitive. Kay is anxious to get it over with.  On top of the biopsy she also has to have a transfusion of immunoglobulin ( because the chemo destroyed many of her "B" Cells).  So this will be a busy week for the Warrens and your prayers are greatly needed. Keep on praying! All of the prayers are greatly felt.
Also please keep Laurie's (Kaylyn's Mom) Father in your prayers he is still in the hospital. Please let the Lord do a miracle in his life while he is being kept there.
Whatever you do never stop praying!

Good Afternoon everyone! Well Kaylyn had some labs done today and the results show that her counts are dropping. When her counts drop she can become very anemic so as a precaution she recieved two units of RBC's. Please continue to pray that Kaylyn goes into remission and stays in remission. The transplant team has been contacted and we are on track to have the transplant in august. The transplant team is prepared in case Kaylyn goes into remission and they have to react quickly.
Kaylyn is having a wonderful time exploring Seattle.  The family had a chance to go and visit the Space Needle, Kay wasent able to go to the top because she was neutropenic, but there will be time to visit it later on.
Thank you for all of your continuous prayers for Kaylyn and the family.  The calls, letters, emails, messages, and gifts are all very thoughtful and appricated so greatly.  Please continue to Keep Kaylyn in your prayers always.  In specific please pray that Kaylyn goes into remission and stays.

Good afternoon everyone! Thank you for your continuous prayers for Kaylyn and her family they are greatly appriciated and felt very much.  Kaylyn still has a cold and has given it to her mom....which in time her Dad will eventually get! So please keep them in your prayers that they will feel better.  Kaylyn had some labs done yesterday and the results will come in tomorrow. Please pray that the labs will be possitive and that Kaylyn will be able to move on in her stages of recovery.  Kaylyn is still feeling a little bit week and doesnt have a whole bunches of energy, but that is to be expected. Besides not having too much energy Kaylyn is feeling pretty good and possitive.
Kaylyn's Grandfather is still in the hospital and the doctors are not sure about what the outcome will be, by means of him ever leaving the hospital again or not. Please keep him in prayer that he will turn to God during this time of trial and he will see the amazing grace and mercy of God.
Please also keep the Dewhirst Family in your prayers in the loss of their father and husband, Tim, as these next few days will be awfully tough and draining on them all.

God is in untimate control.....God is soverign...God is mericiful...God is love

Hey everyone! Kay is feeling pretty good after all of her chemo treatments. She does have a nasty cough and a chest cold right now. She doesnt have a fever which is good. If a fever does develope she will have to go back into the hospital to avoid any type of infection. Over the weekend Kaylyn and Mr.and Mrs.Warren were all able to go to the zoo.  They had wheel chairs there so Kay didn't have to walk the entire time. She was able to sit and relax and enjoy everything about the zoo.  Kay has been enjoying her time in the apartment by doing a lot of scrapbooking, reading, and of course computer! The Warren's have been seizing every opportunity to go out and explore Seattle. Kay on the other hand has been exploring the shopping part of Seattle ....some things never change!!!

Kaylyn was diagnosed with Leukemia on October 15,2005. Kaylyn and her family recently moved to Seattle, Washington in order for Kaylyn to recieve a bone marrow transplant. When Kaylyn moved to Seattle she was at the time in remission, the state that she needs to be at in order for a bone marrow transplant to be conducted.  To all of our suprise a week after they had arrived Kaylyn came out of remission.  She just finished the rounds of chemo she was required to have to go back into remission. Now the hard part comes where we all just sit and wait for Kaylyn to go back into remission.

Kaylyn will be reciving bone marrow from a 20yr old man who we are truly grateful for. Sometimes the kindness of strangers is just unbearable. We are very thankful for the kindness and generosity that this young man has shown.

When Kaylyn was diagnosed with ALL in October 2005, her father created a update website for Kaylyn so that we could be in constant communication with her and her family.  Her site is www.caringbridge.com and you type in her name- Kaylyn.  This site gives daily updates on Kaylyns condition and what treatments she will be going through. It also allows you to write in her "guestbook" where friends and family have overflowed the website with messages of love and encouragement.
